It consists of the villages and hamlets of Wil, Ennerberg, Waltersberg, Büren nid dem Bach and Niederrickenbach.

[3] Oberdorf has an area, as of 2006[update], of 16.2 square kilometers (6.3 sq mi).

Of the rest of the land, 6.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.9%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).

Additionally the hamlets of Büren (nid dem Bach) and Niederrickenbach are included in the municipality.
