Olesia Leonidivna Batsman (born October 3, 1984) is a Ukrainian journalist, TV presenter, and editor-in-chief of the online edition "GORDON".

[4] Since November 2013, she has been the editor-in-chief of the GORDON Internet edition — one of the most popular websites in Ukraine created at the beginning of the Revolution of Dignity.

The journalist said that she was not an employee of these TV channels and did not receive salaries there, and their management, by agreement, could not interfere in the editorial policy of her programs.

In March 2024 an international non-governmental organisation Reporters Without Borders officially launched the Svoboda Satellite Package project.

Its primary objective is to provide people with high-quality information, in addition to the fight against Russian propaganda, said the former secretary general of Reporters Without Borders Christophe Deloire along with Svoboda project director Jim Phillipoff during an interview with Batsman.

We want to have independent journalism to be broadcast to an audience living under propaganda regimes», — explained Deloire.
