[2] In 1994, Blume successfully completed an international trainee program at Audi.
At the age of 28, Blume began working as a planner for body shop and paint operations at Audi.
In 2013, he joined the Porsche Executive Board, where he oversaw production and logistics.
[3] Since 1 October 2015, Blume has been the CEO of the Volkswagen subsidiary Porsche.
He was appointed to this position by the company’s supervisory board on 30 September 2015, succeeding Matthias Müller, who became CEO of the Volkswagen Group.
