Oliver de la Paz is an American poet and educator.
[1] His honors include a 2005 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship Award[2] and a 2009 GAP Grant from Artist Trust.
[3] His work has appeared in literary journals and magazines including Virginia Quarterly Review, [4] North American Review, Tin House, Chattahoochee Review, and in anthologies such as Asian American Poetry: The Next Generation (University of Illinois Press, 2004).
De la Paz was born in Manila, Philippines, and raised in Ontario, Oregon.
[5] He teaches at College of the Holy Cross,[6] and co-chairs the advisory board of Kundiman,[7] a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of Asian American Poetry.
