Olympiacos Volos has also three historic participations in European competitions 1978-79, 1994-95, 1995-96.

The biggest distinction was the qualification to the 16 European teams of Liliana Ronketti in the 1994-95 season with coaches Eleni Papathanasiou and Giorgos Delikouras.
