[1] During the three years before they were disbanded,[2][3] the Council consulted with and received submissions from over three hundred interested Ontario organizations and presented a report to the provincial government.

The OTC has also taken an active part in the conversion of abandoned railway roadbeds in Ontario into recreational trails.
