Onyeka Nubia FRHistS[1] is a British historian, author and academic.
Using the pen name Onyeka, his works explore the history of Black British people, and multiculturalism in the United Kingdom.
[2][3][4] Blackamoores formed the basis of Onyeka's PhD by publication awarded by the University of East Anglia in 2016.
[6] In 2009 Onyeka appeared on the television programme Shoot the Messenger on the TV channel VoxAfrica, discussing the experience of the African diaspora.
[7] Onyeka is an assistant professor in the department of history at the University of Nottingham.
