Open Sauce

Open Sauce is an annual convention focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) held at the Cow Palace in Daly City, in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

[3] YouTuber William Osman founded Open Sauce in 2023 to provide a venue for science and engineering enthusiasts to connect and showcase their work.

By 2024, the event moved to the Cow Palace in Daly City to accommodate the over 20,000 attendees and 500 exhibitors,[1] In response to growing attendance and increased participation in STEM fields.

[8] The event showcases a variety of technology projects, including unconventional and experimental designs, such as a U-Haul truck converted into a massive camera, a musical Tesla coil performance, and a drivable bunk bed.
