Orrum is a town in Robeson County, North Carolina, United States.
Residents originally wanted to name it Orton, but as the name was already in use in nearby Columbus County, the locals opted for "Orrum" as a similar name.

There were 22.2% of families and 17.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 35.7% of those over 64.
