Osafune Station

Osafune Station (長船駅, Osafune-eki) is a passenger railway station located in the city of Setouchi, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West).

[1] Osafune Station is served by the JR Akō Line, and is located 42.3 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Aioi and 31.8 kilometers from Banshū-Akō.

The station consists of two ground-level opposed side platforms connected by a footbridge.

With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR West.
