Oscar M. Babauta

Oscar Manglona Babauta[1] (born December 29, 1954)[2] is a politician from the Northern Marianas Islands.

He served as the 12th Speaker of the Northern Mariana Islands House of Representatives during the 15th Commonwealth Legislature.

In 2000, he was serving as House Floor Leader and sponsored a bill that would amend the Weapons Control Act to allow the use of firearms on shooting resorts.

[3] During the administration of Governor Eloy Inos, he served as Secretary of the Department of Public Lands.
