Oscar Nathan Harris (November 6, 1939 – January 28, 2020)[1] was an American accountant, businessman, and politician who served as a member of the North Carolina Senate from 1998 to 2002.
Born in Newton Grove, North Carolina, Harris graduated from Campbell University.
[3] Harris served as the mayor of Dunn, North Carolina, from 1987 to 1995 and again from 2003 to 2019.
[4][5][6] Harris was the campaign treasurer for Governor Bev Perdue.
He also ran an accounting firm in Dunn before it merged with another company in 2017.
