Osteolepiformes

See text Osteolepiformes, also known as Osteolepidida, is a group of prehistoric lobe-finned fishes which first appeared during the Devonian period.

The order is generally considered to be paraphyletic because the characters that define it are mainly attributes of stem tetrapodomorphs.
