Otho Nitcholas

Nitcholas is one of many ballplayers who only appeared in the major leagues during World War II.

He made his major league debut on April 18, 1945 against the Philadelphia Phillies at Ebbets Field.

His lone major league win came eighteen days later in a 10–7 victory over the Phillies in the second game of a doubleheader at Shibe Park.

On January 1, 1957, Nitcholas was appointed the first Chief of Police in Plano, Texas.
