Overdrive (1997 film)

Overdrive is a 1997 American film starring Steve Guttenberg, which was directed by Lev Spiro for Roger Corman.

[1] The Schlock Pit commented that "While peppered with dialogue drawn from the cliché tombola (“Racing is dangerous.

It’s what I do”), the main flaw of Overdrive is the uneven clip at which it moves.

Track scenes drag on, and they're largely devoid of excitement, all of which have a knock-on effect in regard to any momentum that Spiro tries to build.

"[2] Reckless race-car driver Gary Stricker finds a woman who gives him a new reason to live, but she might also get him killed.
