Pakistan Mathematical Society

There, it was decided to establish a society catering for the needs of mathematical sciences and mathematicians in Pakistan.

26 June 2001, Pakistan Mathematical Society was founded by emeritus Professor Qaiser Mushtaq.

At a function held at Allama Iqbal Open University, the constitution of the society was passed; officers and executive members were elected.

The member is approved by the Executive Council which meets quarterly in the first weeks of January, April, July, and October.

The Executive Council is elected in a quorum of annual general meeting (AGM) at the end of every second year.

In concurrence to the constitutional clauses, the Executive Council meets quarterly in the first weeks of January, April, July, and October.
