Palaeoctonus

Palaeoctonus is an extinct genus of archosaur (possibly phytosaur) known only from isolated teeth.

The name is derived from Greek (palaios meaning "ancient", -ktonos meaning "killer").

The genus is believed to have flourished during the Upper (Late) Triassic period.
