Pamela Liversidge

Pamela Edwards Liversidge OBE FREng (born 23 December 1949) was the first female president of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

[1] She was born 23 December 1949 (née Humphries)[2] and graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University.

[5] She has received honorary degrees from Aston,[6] Huddersfield[7] and Sheffield Hallam[8] Universities.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering,[9] Fellow of the City and Guilds Institute, Freeman of the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire,[10] and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Engineers.
