Parvoscincus beyeri, also known commonly as Beyer's sphenomorphus, is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae.
[2] The specific name, beyeri, is in honor of American ethnologist Henry Otley Beyer.
[1][2] The preferred natural habitat of P. beyeri is forest, at altitudes of 1,000–1,600 m (3,300–5,200 ft).
[1] Large for its genus, P. beyeri may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 7.3 cm (2.9 in).
[2] P. beyeri hides in leaf litter and thick moss, and under rotten fallen logs, on the forest floor.
