Patoka is a rural community in the Hastings District and Hawke's Bay Region of New Zealand's North Island.
[1] The area has been used for pastoral sheep and dairy farming since the 19th century.
[2] It promotes itself on its rolling countryside, high rainfall and free-draining paddocks.
[3] Patoka School is a co-educational state primary school,[4] with a roll of 42 as of November 2024.
