Patrick Garry (born July 15, 1955) is an American law professor and author who is the director of the Hagemann Center for Legal & Public Policy Research.
Garry served as the legal advisor to the Silha Center for Media Law and Ethics at the University of Minnesota.
Garry also served as the legal counsel to the Minnesota News Council.
He is the only faculty member in the history of the University of South Dakota to win the President's Research Excellence Award—the university's highest scholarly research award—outright in both the junior and established faculty categories.
