Paul Andre Assenmacher (/ˈɑːsənmɑːkər/ AHSS-ən-mah-kər;[1] born December 10, 1960) is a former left-handed relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for fourteen seasons.
Assenmacher attended Aquinas High School where he was teammates with Jeff Kaiser.
He signed as an amateur free agent with the Atlanta Braves in 1983, making his major league debut with them on April 12, 1986.
Assenmacher has spent nine seasons as the pitching coach for the baseball team at St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta.
