Paul Evans (RAF officer)

Air Marshal Christopher Paul Anthony Evans, CB, OStJ, QHP, FRAeS (born 1954) is a former senior Royal Air Force officer and medical doctor.

[2] On 18 November 1975, Evans was commissioned into the Medical Branch of the Royal Air Force as a pilot officer.

[3] On 13 July 1978, he was promoted to flying officer,[4] following his qualification as a medical doctor.

[1] He joined the Surgeon General’s Department as the Medical Officer responsible for clinical policy.

[1] On 1 April 2003, he was appointed acting Director Healthcare within the Surgeon General’s Department.

[12] In November 2009, he was appointed Officer of the Venerable Order of St John (OStJ).
