Paulet St John, 3rd Earl of Bolingbroke

Paulet St John, 3rd Earl of Bolingbroke (23 November 1634 – 5 October 1711), known as Paulet St John until 1688, was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1663 to 1685.

St John was the younger son of Sir Paulet St John, younger son of Oliver St John, 1st Earl of Bolingbroke.

[1] In 1688 he succeeded his elder brother in the earldom and entered the House of Lords.

The following year he was appointed Custos Rotulorum of Bedfordshire, which he remained until his death.
