Swaminatha Iyer of Pazhamaneri was a Carnatic musician and violinist from Tamil Nadu, India.
[1] Swaminatha Iyer came from the village of Palamaneri (also known as Pazhamarneri) in the Thanjavur district.
His lineage and legacy continues through his great-granddaughter Mahathi,[2] an established Carnatic vocalist and playback singer in the Indian Film Industry.
In 1912, Swaminatha Iyer played a role in the Sangita Vidya Mahajana Sangam, a music conference organized by Abraham Pandithar and also presided over the afternoon session of the conference.
