Pecos, New Mexico

Pecos is a village in San Miguel County, New Mexico, United States.

[4] The village is built along the Pecos River, which flows from the north out of the Santa Fe National Forest.

It is also an entry point for hunting, fishing, hiking and camping in the Pecos Wilderness.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.7 square miles (4.4 km2), all land.

24.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
