Peden B. McLeod

Peden Brown McLeod (September 3, 1940 – December 30, 2021) was an American politician.

McLeod served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964 and was commissioned a captain.

In 1967, McLeod graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

McLeod died at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, South Carolina.

[2] [3] In 1998 McLeod was awarded the Order of the Palmetto by Governor David Beasley, and The Peden McLeod Library on the Salkehatchie campus of the University of South Carolina, was dedicated to him.
