Peebles, Ohio

Peebles is a village in Adams County, Ohio, United States.

It was named for John G. Peebles, who was instrumental in bringing the railroad to the settlement.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.18 square miles (3.06 km2), all land.

As of the census[3] of 2010, 1,782 people, 758 households, and 456 families resided in the village.

31.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
