Percival Turnbull (archaeologist)

Percival David Turnbull FSA (1953 - 20 August 2016) was a British archaeologist.

[1] He studied at the Institute of Archaeology, University of London, graduating in 1975.

He founded Brigantia Archaeological Practice in 1995 in Barnard Castle.

[3] In 1983 Turnbull and Colin Haselgrove set up the Stanwick Research Project at the Department of Archaeology, Durham University.

[3] He was a founder member of the Tees River Trust.
