In the late 1910s, a railroad was built from east to west between the towns of Ochiltree and Gray.
The devastating tornado tracked southeast, destroying dozens of mobile homes before impacting downtown, downing a cell tower, two communications towers, as well as damaging multiple industrial buildings.
