Peter Klappert (born 1942 in Rockville Centre, New York) is an American poet.
He grew up in West Hempstead, New York, and Rowayton, Connecticut.
[1] His work has appeared in AGNI,[2] Antaeus,[3] Atlantic Monthly, Harper's,[4] Ploughshares, AWP Chronicle, Lambda Book Report, The Gettysburg Review,[5] and The Southern Review.
[6] He was Briggs-Copeland Lecturer at Harvard University, and Writer-in-Residence at College of William and Mary.
