Peter P. Garibaldi (September 12, 1931 – August 20, 2023) was an American politician who served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 1968 to 1974 and in the New Jersey Senate from 1984 to 1988.
[1] Garibaldi was elected mayor of Monroe Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey in 1975.
He was re-elected in 1979 and 1983, and was defeated in a bid for a fourth term in 1987.
[3] Garibaldi died from cancer at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune Township, New Jersey, on August 20, 2023, at the age of 91.
