Peter Rutledge

Peter Jonathan Rutledge is a New Zealand chemist and professor at the School of Chemistry, University of Sydney.

His research has focused on drug development for tuberculosis,[1][2][3][4] antibiotics,[5] and metal sensing.

[10][11] Rutledge received his BSc in chemistry and biochemistry from the University of Auckland in 1993.

He left New Zealand in 1995 and obtained his DPhil at Magdalen College, Oxford working with Jack Edward Baldwin in 1999.

In 2003, he moved to become a lecturer at the Centre for Synthesis and Chemical Biology at University College Dublin.
