Peter Somers (3 June 1878 – 27 November 1914) was a Scottish footballer who played as an inside forward for Celtic,[3][4] Blackburn Rovers, Hamilton Academical[1][5] and Scotland.
[6][7] Somers also played for the Scottish Football League XI three times.
[8] After retiring as a player, Somers became a director of Hamilton Academical.
[11][1] Somers became seriously ill in November 1914, requiring his left foot to be amputated.
