Peter Norton Townsend (15 February 1910 – 9 May 1995) was an English first-class cricketer.
The son of the cricketer Charlie Townsend, he was born in February 1910 at Norton, County Durham.
[1] While studying at Oxford, he played first-class cricket for Oxford University in 1929, making two appearances against the touring South Africans and Nottinghamshire.
[2] He scored 16 runs in his two matches,[3] while with his leg break bowling he took 3 wickets.
