[5][6] The film begins in a village; its President, Jaganadham, is a tyrant who tramples the public, mingling his acolytes Butchaiah, Achaiah, Lakshmipati & Gumustha Govindayya, and loots government grants & schemes.

Since Suryam is a progeny of the first, Jaganadham nurtures him, performs nuptials with his benevolent daughter Lakshmi, and is blessed with a son, Raja.

Chandram is a gallant, well-informed who toils to enhance the more significant life of the village and impedes the enormities of lowlifes.

He resided with peasants and formed a union against Jaganadham & Co. On the beat, Mohan, a sibling of Rohini, lands as a Vigilance Officer and wedlock Sarada.
