Phanogomphus is a genus of clubtails in the family Gomphidae found in North America.

[1][2][3] Phanogomphus was formerly considered a subgenus of Gomphus, but has recently been promoted to genus rank along with Stenogomphurus, Gomphurus and Hylogomphus.
