Phellinus sulphurascens

Phellinus sulphurascens is the Douglas-fir species of the fungus genus, Phellinus.

It was recently recognized as a distinct species from Phellinus weirii.

Both were historically thought to be the same, but genetic tests suggested that the two species were distinct.
