The stargazing minnow (Phenacobius uranops) is a North American species of freshwater cyprinid fish.
It is distributed in the Green, Cumberland and Tennessee River drainages in Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.

It is common and abundant and not considered to be threatened.
