Phil Albert (April 4, 1944 – December 8, 2020) was an American football player and coach.
Over the next 20 years, Albert directed the very young program to success at three different levels of NCAA competition.
He coached 28 All-Americans and four National Football League (NFL) players, including Sean Landeta and Dave Meggett.
From 1994 to 2001, he worked with the San Diego Chargers organization as the advanced game day scout.
