Philip Greenberg

Philip Greenberg is a professor of medicine, oncology, and immunology at the University of Washington and head of program in immunology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

[2][3][4] Greenberg graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in biology; he received his M.D.

After completing postdoctoral training at the University of California at San Diego, he joined the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the Division of Oncology at the University of Washington, in 1976.

His group has demonstrated the potential of isolating antigen-specific T cells and growing them to perform in vivo activity against a disease.
