[1] Lord Wenman was educated at Roysse's School (from 1731–1737) and Oriel College, Oxford.
[2] In 1749, Wenman was returned to the House of Commons for the city of Oxford, a seat he held until 1754.
[4] Lord Wenman married Sophia, eldest daughter and co-heir of James Herbert, of Tythorpe, Oxfordshire, in 1741.
Wenman died in August 1760, aged 40, and was succeeded in the viscountcy by his eldest son, Philip.
