Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien

Philippe de Gaspé Beaubien OC (born January 12, 1928)[1] is a Canadian media proprietor, who was chairman and CEO of Telemedia.

[2] He was educated at the Université de Montréal, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1952, and at Harvard University, receiving his MBA in 1954.

He was also presented with an honorary degree in law from York University in 1979, and was inducted into the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1994.

In 1967, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada "for his contribution to Centennial Year as director of operations for the 1967 World Exhibition".

The main themes of the Foundation's activities have been related to family business initiatives and clean water technologies.
