Phillip L. Hammack is an American academic in the field of psychology.
He is also director of the university's Sexual and Gender Diversity Laboratory.
[2] Hammack earned a Master of Arts in clinical psychology from Loyola University Chicago and a Doctor of Philosophy in cultural psychology from the University of Chicago.
[3] Hammack previously served as president of the Society for Qualitative Inquiry in Psychology.
He has received fellowships from the American Psychological Association and Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (2017–18).
