Pierre Nzila

Following the June–October 1997 civil war, Nzila was appointed to the government as Minister of Basic and Secondary Education on 2 November 1997.

[7] In the June–August 2007 parliamentary election, Nzila stood again as the PCT candidate in Okoyo constituency.

[9] Following that election, Nzila retained his post as President of the Defense and Security Commission when the National Assembly began meeting for the new parliamentary term in September 2007.

[11] Nzila did not stand for re-election to the National Assembly in the July–August 2007 parliamentary election,[12] but he was appointed Ambassador to Gabon and presented his credentials to Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba on 19 March 2013.

[13] Along with other African ambassadors posted to Gabon, Nzila visited the Albert Schweitzer Hospital at Lambaréné on 1 March 2014.
