Piyush Anand (born 18 June 1968[1]) is a 1991- batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from Uttar Pradesh cadre currently serving as the Director General of the National Disaster Response Force of India since 1 April 2024.

[1] Anand has completed M. Tech in (Mechanical engineering) from IIT Delhi and also Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Management from MDI Gurgaon.

[2] Anand holds many special or high rank post in central government's agencies and they has been awarded for his work.

He has also served in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) as ADG/SDG for more than a year and anand joining the National Disaster Response Force as Director General on 1 April 2024.
