Plainfield (CDP), New Hampshire

The CDP is in the western part of the town of Plainfield, along New Hampshire Route 12A, which leads north 7 miles (11 km) to Interstate 89 in West Lebanon and south 5 miles (8 km) to the Cornish–Windsor Covered Bridge over the Connecticut River.

[3] According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.58 square miles (1.5 km2), all land.

[4] As of the census of 2010, there were 205 people, 87 households, and 56 families residing in the CDP.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.0% white, 0.5% African American, 1.0% Asian, and 0.5% from two or more races.

25.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.5% were someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
