Plavsky District (Russian: Пла́вский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-three in Tula Oblast, Russia.

[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Plavsky Municipal District.

[4] It is located in the southwestern central part of the oblast.

The area of the district is 1,024.6 square kilometers (395.6 sq mi).

[2] Its administrative center is the town of Plavsk.
