The bluebarred prickleback (Plectobranchus evides) is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Stichaeidae, the pricklebacks and shannies.

It is the only species in the monotypic genus Plectobranchus.

This fish is found in the eastern Pacific Ocean.
