Dracaena aurea, the golden hala pepe, is a species of flowering plant that is endemic to the island of Kauaʻi in Hawaii.
The gray, straight trunk does not have bark and is 0.3–0.9 m (0.98–2.95 ft) in diameter.
[4] It was first described by Horace Mann Jr. as Dracaena aurea in 1867.
[5][6] The World Checklist of Selected Plant Families rejects the move.
